Run A Simulated Auction
On this page you can run your own simulation of an auction.

You can decide on certain parameters of the auction, such as the number of buyers and sellers and their strategies.

Fill in the form below and press RUN AUCTION to run your auction. There are links to explain some of the choices.

Pricing Policy:

Enter the maximum number of rounds of bidding which will occur during the auction (1-200. Default = 10). To learn about what happens during each round click here.

Enter the number of sellers that will participate in the auction (1-200. Default = 10).

Choose the way in which the sellers determine their individual value for the good being sold. To learn about the different valuation methods click here.

Valuer:


Enter the minimum and maximum value of the good for the sellers (1-1000. Default Min = 1, Max = 10). The individual value of each seller will be distributed in this interval.
